Politicians have always batted around how Medicare bills are determined. For you to know, hospitals are currently paid depending on which one of 441 different geographic areas a medical facility is in. The system is going to be transformed in 2013. That year, organizations with greater patient-care records will be repaid more. This issue is one of the proofs why Quality-based Medicare payments could hurt minority patients. They should have to focus more on medicare payments because life is more important than anything else in this world.
